During the first Chengdu Finance Week<\/strong>, Frankfurt Main Finance\u00a0(FMF)<\/strong> and China Innovation Finance Institute | Chengdu (CIFI Chengdu)<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0signed a Memorandum of Understanding\u00a0on strengthening Sino-German cooperation in the financial sector.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Frankfurt Main Finance \u00a0(FMF)<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0China Innovation Finance Institute | Chengdu (CIFI Chengdu)<\/strong> published the financial centre development initiative during the first Chengdu Finance Week, with the aim of further strengthening close cooperation in the future. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in Chengdu by Mr. <\/b><\/strong>Andreas Gl\u00e4nzel<\/b><\/strong>,\u00a0Managing Director of Frankfurt Main Finance<\/b><\/strong>, and Mr. Calvin<\/b><\/strong> Chenggang FU, Chairman of<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0<\/b><\/strong>China Innovation Finance Institute\u00a0| Chengdu<\/b><\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The memorandum serves to\u00a0strengthen the Sino-German cooperation in the financial sector<\/b><\/strong>. The CIFI Chengdu will support FMF in further establishing Frankfurt as one of the world\u2019s leading financial centres and promote its strategies in the financial markets in Greater China, especially in Western China. FMF supports Chengdu\u2019s development into a leading financial centre in Western China.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

To this end, the two financial centre initiatives will organize joint training courses, conferences and other activities<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0to increase market awareness and media presence of both financial centres. China Innovation Finance Institute | Chengdu was established in 2022 with the approval of Chengdu Municipal Local Financial Regulation Bureau and registration with Chengdu Civil Authorities.<\/p>

The institute conducts high-quality research on innovative finance, innovative investment and innovative economy, promotes the construction of the western financial centre and the development of the Belt and Road financial service centre in Chengdu in a scientific, systematic and practical way. Since 2008, Frankfurt Main Finance\u00a0\u00a0(FMF) has been the financial centre initiative of the leading financial centre in Germany and the Eurozone. Its more than 75 members include the State of Hesse, the cities of Frankfurt and Eschborn, numerous well-known financial market players and their service providers as well as private and public universities.
