he Chengdu Foreign Trade and Development Association was approved by the Chengdu Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau on August 16, 2017, and was officially registered on January 18, 2018. It is an independent, non-profit legal entity under the supervision of the Chengdu Commerce Bureau.<\/p>

Since its establishment, the Association has actively served as a bridge and link for the industry, coordinating resources to help foreign trade enterprises seize opportunities of the times and pursue timely transformation and upgrading, thereby becoming a strong supporter of sustainable growth. It also builds an efficient communication channel between government and enterprises, providing the authorities with authoritative, reliable, detailed, and timely industry information to support policymaking. In doing so, it has become an important partner for the government and has contributed to Chengdu\u2019s development as an international gateway hub and international consumption center city.<\/p>

At present, the Association\u2019s registered members cover a wide range of industries, including electronic information, equipment manufacturing, medicine and health, energy and mineral resources, transportation, clothing, shoes and boots, furniture and home furnishings, food and beverages, cosmetics and personal care, as well as cultural and creative industries. The Chengdu Supply Chain Association, the first supply chain association established in Western and Central China, was jointly initiated in 2019 by central state-owned enterprises, provincial-level SOEs of Sichuan, municipal SOEs of Chengdu, private enterprises, and research institutions across different industrial chains. Under the guidance of the Chengdu Municipal Port and Logistics Office, the Association has progressively implemented its \u201c1338 Strategy,\u201d and built the brand of \u201cGlobal Supply Chain \u00b7 Chengdu Power\u201d to advance the city\u2019s supply chain integration and upgrading initiative.<\/p>

To help Chengdu accelerate the construction of the \u201cBelt and Road\u201d international supply chain resource allocation center as the center of work; to create a new impetus for the development of the industry chain supply chain, and \u201chelp Chengdu industry chain supply chain environment enhancement, help industry chain supply chain service level enhancement, help enterprises to enhance the level of supply chain management\u201d; and to help enterprises to enhance the level of supply chain management. Supply chain management level enhancement\u201c; through three initiatives to implement the central work, and \u201dbuild a platform, gather resources, and promote the development”; through the construction of eight service platforms, and constantly improve the association’s resource service capacity, and Government and Enterprise Exchange Platform, Market Players Elements Gathering Platform, \u201c1+1\u201d Think Tank Talent Service Platform, Logistics Supply Chain Public Service Platform, Global Supply Chain Investment Platform, Publicity and Promotion Platform, Conference and Exhibition Platform, and Policy Interpretation Platform. The Chengdu IoT Industry Development Alliance is a non-profit social organization with independent legal entity status, officially registered with the Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Civil Affairs in April 2010 under the guidance of the Chengdu Municipal Economic and Information Technology Commission. It is among the first IoT industry organizations established in China and the first industry alliance formally registered in Chengdu.<\/p>

With the mission of \u201cserving the industry and promoting development,\u201d the Alliance provides a wide range of services for IoT-related enterprises, including professional forum activities, project services, talent services, information services, financing support, and intellectual property services. Bailuwan Science and Technology Eco Park has a total planned area of 3,650 mu (approximately 243 hectares), with the first phase covering 1,146 mu (about 76 hectares) and a total investment of RMB 10.21 billion. It is planned to develop 1.2 million square meters of high-quality industrial space.<\/p>

The park is committed to establishing an integrated business model that combines \u201ctechnology innovation resource introduction, science and technology park development, technology finance, listed companies, and technology industry clusters.\u201d It focuses on four major innovative application areas: smart commerce, smart healthcare and elderly care, intelligent manufacturing, and smart city solutions. Jiaozi Park Financial Business District (Hedong Area) is Chengdu\u2019s first flagship project that integrates headquarters office space with a block-style commercial district. The project adopts a comprehensive development approach, using streets as development units to achieve unified design, construction, and operations, creating a vibrant, multi-dimensional neighborhood that blends park ecology, urban landscapes, and modern business. Upon completion, the project will focus on attracting a cluster of fintech institutions. All newly built key industrial buildings in the industrial park are designed in accordance with China\u2019s Three-Star Green Building Standards and are Grade A or higher office buildings. Throughout the entire life cycle – from architectural design and on-site construction to operation and use – the project prioritizes green, environmentally friendly practices, energy conservation, and emissions reduction. The Tianfu New Area Planning Exhibition Hall leverages advanced display technologies, including simulation and physical models, to vividly present the formation of the spatial pattern of \u201cOne Area, Two Cities, Multiple Towns\u201d \u2014 covering the Tianfu Headquarters Business District, Chengdu Science City, Tianfu Digital Cultural & Creative City, and various characteristic industrial towns. This immersive experience offers visitors a direct and vivid understanding of how Tianfu New Area embodies the vision of a park city demonstration zone guided by the new development philosophy. From the exhibition hall\u2019s observation deck, visitors enjoy a panoramic view of the growing skyline around Xinglong Lake, where clusters of buildings rise gracefully along the waterfront.<\/p>

On February 11, 2018, President Jinping Xi visited Tianfu New Area and, through videos, sand tables, and display boards, gained a detailed understanding of ecological restoration at Xinglong Lake, the industrial layout around the lake, and the development of the China (Sichuan) Pilot Free Trade Zone. On the exhibition hall\u2019s facade, his 73-character inscription shines in gold, recording his important guidance for the development of the New Area.<\/p>

Since its establishment, the Tianfu New Area Planning Exhibition Hall has received over 200,000 visitors, including Party and state leaders, central, provincial, and municipal delegations, as well as local residents, corporate employees, and student groups. It has become an important showcase for the concept and achievements of park city development, the birthplace of the \u201cpark city\u201d vision, and a key base for patriotic education for the younger generation.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The National Center of Technology Innovation – Sichuan Xizang Railway was jointly established by China State Railway Group Co., Ltd., Sichuan Province, and the Xizang Autonomous Region, with its headquarters in Chengdu and branch offices in Beijing and Linzhi. It is a major national science and technology platform dedicated to addressing the scientific and technical challenges of the Sichuan -Xizang Railway, supporting its construction and operation, and advancing the development of China\u2019s railway innovation and industrial ecosystems. The Innovation Center is located in Chengdu Science City, Tianfu New District, Sichuan Province, covering an area of about 100 acres, with a total investment of 1.38 billion yuan in the first phase and a total construction area of about 128,000 square meters. It will build the Geological Research Center of Sichuan-Tibet Railway, and a number of systematic and comprehensive R&D and experimental environments, such as the Digital Railway, Engineering Construction and Operation and Maintenance, Disaster Early Warning and Prevention and Control, Geography and Geology, Green and Ecological Protection, Plateau Health and Hygiene, and Material Deterioration and Failure, and so on. Experimental environment.<\/p>

In March 2021, the Ministry of Science and Technology officially approved the Center, making it the only National Center of Technology Innovation in the railway sector. The Chengdu headquarters was inaugurated in May 2021, and the project\u2019s groundbreaking ceremony was held in December 2021 with key provincial and municipal leaders in attendance. The Center\u2019s core research facilities, including the Scientific Research Building and Geological Research Building, are now operational. The National Supercomputing Center in Chengdu is located by Xinglong Lake in the Western China (Chengdu) Science City. The project covers an area of 36 mu (about 6 acres) with a total construction area of 61,700 square meters. The center completed the construction of the first phase of supercomputing system with peak performance of 170PFlops in September 2020. in June 2021, the center passed the acceptance of the Ministry of Science and Technology and was incorporated into the sequence of national supercomputing centers, which filled the gap in the layout of the national supercomputing center system in the western region of China. in May 2023, the center was named as a national green data center by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. In July 2023, the Center was approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology to prepare for the establishment of a national open innovation platform for new-generation artificial intelligence arithmetic.<\/p>

Since its founding, the institute has focused on specialized fields such as millimeter-wave radar applications and natural disaster monitoring and prevention. It has built three major research platforms covering millimeter-wave technology, aerospace remote sensing, and interferometry. The institute has formed over ten research teams in areas including intelligent connected vehicles and smart sensing. It has been recognized as a \u201cNew-Type R&D Institution of Sichuan Province\u201d and a \u201cMunicipal-Level Maker Space,\u201d and has introduced and incubated seven enterprises.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

stablished in April 2018, Chengdu Advanced Capital Management Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chengdu Industry Group and a registered private equity investment fund manager with the Asset Management Association of China (AMAC). The company currently manages Chengdu\u2019s Major Industrialization Project Investment Fund, with a target fund size of RMB 40 billion and RMB 22 billion under management.
