Chengdu Finance Week Events – International Financial Centre Development Conference was successfully conducted.

During the first Chengdu Finance Week, Saudi Arabia-China Innovation Finance Conference and serial Riyadh visits， under the theme of “Shape an Innovative and Sustainable Future for Saudi Arabia and China”, explored the long-term cooperation of financial service platforms with a focus on the construction of the Western Financial Centre.

During the first Chengdu Finance Week, the organizing committee held “Qatar—China Innovation Finance Conference” and a series of visits in Doha, Qatar. During the conference, agencies of Qatar and Chengdu conducted discussions and exchanges around the theme of “Shape an Innovative and Sustainable Future for Qatar and China”, and signed the “Belt and Road” financial services cooperation agreement. At the same time, focusing on the construction of the Western Financial Centre, the bilateral discussed the long-term cooperation of financial service platform projects.

Luxembourg Day and Luxembourg Innovation Finance Conference, co-hosted by Chengdu Municipal Local Financial Regulation Bureau, Chengdu Hi-tech Development Zone Administrative Committee, Luxembourg Stock Exchange and China – Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, and organized by China Innovation Finance Institute | Chengdu, was successfully conducted on 20 November 2023 at Chengdu European Centre.

During the opening ceremony of Chengdu Finance Week, participants from various countries and regions were encouraged to communicate with each other, focusing on the development of the Western China Financial Centre.

Chengdu Finance Week, co-hosted by Chengdu Municipal Local Financial Regulation Bureau and Chengdu Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone Administrative Committee, and organized by China Innovation Finance Institute | Chengdu, was officially opened on November 19, 2023 in Chengdu.
