ABOUT US
The China Innovation Finance Institute | Chengdu (The Institute) is established in 2022 with the endorsement of Chengdu Municipal Financial Supervision Bureau and registration with Chengdu Civil Affairs Bureau.
Conducting researches on innovation finance, innovation investment and innovation economy, the Institute aims to support Chengdu to grow into a financial service center on the Belt and Road, the financial center of western China, and develop partnership with major international financial centres and international innovation centres.
The Institute is currently open for recruitment for the following positions. All positions are available at both intermediate and junior levels. The specific level and salary will be determined based on the qualifications and professional abilities of the applicants.
Work Location: Chengdu and other Chinese Cities, Offices in Middle East/Central Asia/Europe.

【Research Officer | Specialist】
Job Requirements:
- 3 years or more of professional work experience
- Educational background in economics, finance, law, political science, international relations, etc. Master's or Ph.D. preferred
- Preferably with a background in renowned financial institutions, multinational corporations, international organizations, think tanks, professional associations, or government work
- Strong research and professional writing skills in both Chinese and English
- Demonstrates innovative, rigorous logical thinking, exceptional execution, and team leadership abilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct research in areas such as international financial centers, international innovation centers, innovative finance, innovative investments, digital finance, cross-border finance, financial technology, financial regulation, financial markets, macroeconomics, and industrial policies
- Write and update in-depth reports, provide timely analysis on industry development, policies, and emerging events
- Participate in professional discussions, maintain communication and interaction with industry experts, obtain industry trends and insights, and provide industry policy recommendation reports
- Financial book editing
- Writing financial articles for the media
【Project Officer | Specialist】
Job Requirements:
- 3 years or more of work experience
- Educational background in finance, economics, investment, management, law, or related fields
- Preferably with a background in renowned financial institutions, multinational corporations, international organizations, think tanks, professional associations, or government work
- Proficiency in computer programming skills, such as platform system development, is preferred
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage cross-border investment and financing cooperation and research projects, coordinate relevant parties, and follow up on project progress
- Manage cross-border investment and financing projects, manage projects involving collaboration with government and regulatory departments, and coordinate relevant partners while monitoring project progress
- Manage important financial services infrastructure cooperation and research projects, coordinate relevant parties, and follow up on project progress
- Responsible for writing, submitting, and coordinating documents such as project design, progress control, and requirement planning during the project process
- Conduct due diligence investigations, investment and financing analysis, and provide consulting services and cooperation for overseas market access

Job Requirements:

- Familiarity with operating mainstream overseas social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, with experience in social media management preferred
- Familiarity with domestic mainstream social media resources such as Weibo, WeChat, Toutiao, Baidu, Tencent, content creation, and operations
