Riyadh | Boao Forum for Asia Riyadh Conference
On November 27, 2025, Calvin Chenggang Fu, Chairman of The China Innovation Finance Institute | Chengdu, delivered a speech at the Boao Forum for Asia Riyadh Conference 2025. The theme of the conference is “Transformation promotes regional economic diversification and sustainable development”. More than 200 high-level representatives were present at the conference, including Ban Ki-moon, the chairman of the Boao Forum for Asia, Viktor Turk, former Slovenian President, Andrey Shipley, former New Zealand Prime Minister, and Abdulaziz bin Salman, Saudi Arabia’s Energy Minister.
Beijing | “China Philanthropist” 2025 Impact Philanthropy Conference
On December 18, 2025, Calvin Chenggang Fu, Chairman of the Institute, attended the “2025 Impact Philanthropy Conference” co-hosted by “China Philanthropist” and the Institute of Impact Philanthropy. He served as the host and speaker of the “Public Welfare Going Global, Enterprises Leading the Way” themed salon. This annual conference focused on corporate philanthropy, scientific charity and social innovation. attracting nearly 40 leading figures and practitioners from the nonprofit welfare sector, enterprises, international organizations and academia. This conference aimed to promote the construction of a cross-disciplinary communication platform through keynote speeches, case sharing, report releases and theme salons.
Hainan Free Trade Port | Sanya Forum & 5th Sanya Wealth Management Conference
On December 27, 2025, Calvin Chenggang Fu, Chairman of the Institute, attended the “Sanya Forum & 5th Sanya Wealth Management Conference” and delivered a speech at the closed-door meeting on “Hainan’s Customs Closure and High-level Opening-up” and the plenary session on “Building a New High Ground for Offshore Trade and Cross-border Investment and Financing”. The forum focused on the institutional innovation and development opportunity following Hainan’s customs closure policy. This seminar brought together experts from government, business and academic circles from home and abroad to discuss key issues such as cross-border investment and financing, wealth management and construction of modern financial clusters.
Hong Kong | Hong Kong Financial Services Development Council Seminar on Hong Kong Capital Market
On January 6, 2026, Calvin Chenggang Fu, Chairman of the Institute, and the team attended a closed-door seminar hosted by Hong Kong Financial Services Development Council. Centered around the research report “Hong Kong’s Capital Market Leadership: A Super-Connector Path to the Global Capital Nexus in the Digital Era”, this seminar invited over 20 experts and industry representatives, who exchanged in-depth views on the development of Hong Kong’s capital market and its positioning as an international financial center.

Chengdu | The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen AI Open Lecture & Financial EMBA Admissions Briefing
On January 10, 2026, China Innovation Finance Institute | Chengdu and Shenzhen Finance Institute, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (SFI, CUHK-Shenzhen) jointly hosted “Finance EMBA Open Lecture & Admissions Briefing for the 2026 Intake” in Chengdu. This event, themed “From Anxiety to Growth: AI Strategy Implementation and Organizational Transformation” featured experts from CUHK-Shenzhen who analyzed AI strategies, while professionals from Shenzhen Finance Institute detailed the Finance EMBA training system, and current students also shared their experiences and practices. This event aimed to provide high-end educational resources for financial practitioners in the western region of China, and cultivate international financial talents.
