Chengdu Finance Week · Gulf Innovation Investment Conference and Middle East Closed-Door Seminar were successfully held recently, with more than fifty experts from international organizations, regulatory authorities, sovereign wealth funds, exchanges, banks, brokers, funds, and industrial organizations attending both offline and online.
With the theme of “China-Arab Financial Cooperation under Geopolitical Economic Uncertainty: The Gulf Capital Market in the Middle East of the Belt and Road Initiative”, the conference focused on ten sub-themes, including development and regulation of the Gulf capital market, financial infrastructure connectivity, liquidity characteristics, product innovation, industry-finance cooperation, e-CNY, and transition finance. From the perspective of multilateral economic cooperation, participating experts had an in-depth discussion on the opportunities, challenges, goals, and development of China-Arab financial cooperation on the basis of interdisciplinary dialogue, with a view to provide practical decision-making support for China-Arab multilateral financial cooperation.
